Geotechnical Engineer

📋 Description

• Deliver geotechnical engineering assessments and technical studies for major infrastructure
• Review and interpret ground investigation data, laboratory testing and geological reports.
• Support foundation design, earthworks, retaining structures and slope stability assessments.
• Prepare geotechnical calculations, technical reports and design documentation.
• Collaborate with civil, structural and construction teams to ensure safe and efficient project
• Review contractor submissions and provide technical recommendations.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working in geotechnical engineering within infrastructure, energy, nuclear, rail or
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering and ground investigation techniques.
• Experience using relevant geotechnical software and analytical tools.
• Ability to prepare and review technical reports and engineering calculations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of UK engineering standards and regulations.
