Geotechnician

📋 Description

• Conduct soils field testing, including DCP, PSP and NDM testing.
• Collect, prepare, log and test construction material samples.
• Perform routine laboratory and field testing in line with relevant standards.
• Set up, calibrate, maintain and clean testing equipment.
• Review test data and prepare clear, accurate reports.
• Communicate professionally with clients and respond to testing requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum NATA Supervisory Level 2, with Level 3 or higher highly desirable, or qualifications and
• Current Nuclear Density Gauge licence and demonstrated experience performing nuclear field density
• Extensive practical experience in soil field and laboratory testing, including compaction control
• Strong experience in field sampling, sample selection and applicable sampling requirements.
• Demonstrated competency in relevant Australian Standards, Main Roads WA test methods and CMT
• Sound understanding of NATA/ISO 17025 requirements, quality assurance, equipment checks, test
