GIS Analyst – Remote Sensing and Site Investigation

📋 Description

• Define, document, and maintain analysis methodologies, acceptance criteria, and quality control
• Interpret LiDAR data and imagery to assess terrain, drainage, vegetation, physical constraints, and
• Perform advanced terrain analyses using digital elevation models, slopes, profiles, contours, and
• Evaluate data coverage, resolution, accuracy, classification, spatial referencing, and overall
• Compare remote sensing information with survey data, design information, and other available
• Develop technical recommendations and communicate findings, limitations, assumptions, and risks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in geomatics, geography, remote sensing, earth sciences, engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years working with
• Demonstrated experience interpreting remote sensing data and assessing site conditions for
• Strong proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, including 3D tools, LAS datasets, raster and mosaic datasets
• Good understanding of coordinate systems, spatial accuracy, resolution, point classification, and
• Ability to establish analytical methods and acceptance criteria, investigate discrepancies across
