GL Accountant

📋 Description

• Execute period-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare fixed asset proposals, reconciliations, and roll-forward analyses.
• Manage GST compliance and support statutory requirements.
• Prepare cost-plus invoices for intercompany transactions and TP compliance.
• Oversee monthly accruals and post asset/liability journal entries.
• Coordinate statutory/tax audits and required documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of hands-on GL accounting experience, preferably in a multinational organization.
• Experience managing financial close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including local statutory accounting and US GAAP.
• ERP/financial platforms: NetSuite, Coupa, or BlackLine (advantage).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis; strong written and verbal communication.
