GL Accountant

📋 Description

• Own day-to-day GL accounting across multiple client entities
• Post customer payments and maintain AR aging
• Code vendor invoices and schedule payments in automated payables
• Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies to root cause
• Process payroll-related transactions and code to proper accounts
• Prepare and reconcile fixed asset and prepaid expense schedules

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years full-cycle accounting across multiple client entities
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Ownership of full close cycle: AP, AR, bank recs, journal entries, trial balance
• Accrual accounting knowledge and payroll entries
• QuickBooks Online proficiency; NetSuite or Bill.com a plus
• Track record of identifying process gaps and improving them
