GLAD Law Senior Staff Attorney

📋 Description

• Lead complex litigation in state and federal courts through hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Identify and develop impact litigation aligned with organizational priorities.
• Supervise and mentor staff attorneys; provide guidance and development.
• Direct litigation teams across matters; coordinate research, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Draft and oversee briefs, memoranda, and advocacy materials.
• Collaborate on legislative initiatives and civil rights advocacy.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. degree and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 10 years in litigation, including complex matters, trials, and appellate advocacy.
• Proven ability to lead complex litigation and develop long-term strategies.
• Experience in constitutional, civil rights, administrative, or related areas.
• Strong commitment to civil rights, equality, and LGBTQ+ advocacy.
• Experience supervising and mentoring attorneys and multidisciplinary teams.
