Global Accounting Specialist

📋 Description

• Perform day-to-day accounting for multiple international entities, including GL entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close across global entities.
• Coordinate and reconcile intercompany accounts and eliminations during consolidation.
• Assist with consolidation under German GAAP (HGB).
• Work with external auditors and internal stakeholders during audits and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory accounting and tax regulations in all jurisdictions.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or related field; strong accounting principles and close processes.
• 3+ years in global accounting in a multinational environment; solid GL and reconciliations.
• German GAAP (HGB) and European GAAP familiarity; US GAAP a plus.
• Datev and Lucanet experience; ERP systems familiarity.
• Excel advanced skills with hard-coding; Power Pivot Table; SQL basics.
• Fluent English; ability to work across geographies and across teams.
