Global Mechanical Design Manager

📋 Description

• Own Volta's mechanical design standards and reference architectures across the fleet
• Review and approve project-level mechanical design deliverables against fleet standards
• Lead cooling strategy and thermal design for high-density compute
• Partner with Precon/FEP to shape mechanical scope in front-end planning
• Coordinate with equipment vendors on cooling equipment selection and lead times
• Support commissioning with mechanical design input for turn-up readiness

🎯 Requirements

• Significant mechanical design experience on data centres or mission-critical facilities
• Deep knowledge of cooling systems for high-density compute (air or liquid)
• Experience with standardized design programmes across multiple projects
• Experience managing design consultants and reviewing deliverables
• Strong understanding of cost, schedule and constructability impacts
• Willingness to travel across the fleet as needed
