Global Payroll Accountant (m/f/d)

📋 Description

• Control workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
• Prepare internal payroll reports and develop ad hoc financial reporting as needed
• Assure confidentiality and security of records and information
• Responsible for month-end tasks including payroll-related journal entries, account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements
• Support internal and external audits

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of payroll accounting or accounting experience, preferably with global payroll exposure
• Strong understanding of U.S. payroll and familiarity with international payroll practices
• Experience with payroll reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, month-end close and audits
• Strong Excel and analytical skills, experience with payroll systems preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
