GNC Engineer (Starfall)

📋 Description

• Develop reliable GNC algorithms, simulations, tools, dashboards in C++ or Python.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Analyze performance data from Starfall flights and simulations.
• Write high-quality technical documentation of programs, algorithms, or analyses.
• Entry trajectory design, guidance, and optimization.
• Atmospheric entry, descent, and landing (EDL) algorithms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, physics or an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years software development in C++ or Python.
• Master's degree or PhD in engineering or physics.
• Experience with atmospheric entry guidance, navigation, and control.
• Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and entry trajectory optimization.
• Experience verifying GNC algorithms via simulation and validation of models (including atmospheric, aerodynamic, and thermal environments).
