📋 Description

Lead and grow a GNC engineering team in Munich with mentoring and people management
Set technical strategy and roadmap for Munich GNC in alignment with San Jose leadership
Remain hands-on: design and implement flight control algorithms for VTOL aircraft
Review and approve designs, requirements, and test plans from the team
Represent GNC in program reviews; communicate status and risks to stakeholders
Build simulations to verify requirements and support aircraft design decisions

🎯 Requirements

Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring an engineering team
Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, optimization, and control theory
Education: BS+12y OR MS+8y OR PhD+6y in related field
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
Hands-on contributor who can also lead a team
Bonus: familiarity with aircraft/rotorcraft performance
