Golang Contractor - Open Source

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the open source community to design and implement new features for DevOps tooling
• Maintain and improve the quality of codebases, infrastructure, and documentation
• Review and provide feedback on pull requests from the community and team
• Contractor role paid hourly; approx 25-35 hours/week with flexible scheduling
• Path to full-time employment with Gruntwork in the future

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, Golang focus
• Proven experience with open source projects, leadership preferred
• Strong English communication, comfortable with external community and Gruntwork customers
• Experience with OpenTofu and Terraform; authored modules and prod usage
• Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructure and security best practices
• Experience working asynchronously with a remote engineering team
