Ground Operations Technician

📋 Description

• Prepare test pads and facilities for equipment load-in and load-out.
• Set up/break down test configurations, staging areas, and temporary infra.
• Support installation, positioning, and rigging of skids and test hardware.
• Drive and operate heavy machinery (forklifts, telehandlers, cranes).
• Assist engineering and reliability teams during setup, testing, teardown.
• Rigging, hoisting, and safe movement of heavy or sensitive equipment.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade school training a plus
• 2+ years in ground ops, field service, or industrial maintenance
• Experience operating heavy equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers); license a plus
• Comfortable with rigging, lifting, and moving heavy equipment safely
• Work outdoors in various weather and plant environments
• (Preferred) Crane and/or rigging certification (NCCCO/NCCER) or equivalent
