Hardware Compliance Analyst

📋 Description

• Coordinate with Engineering teams and Technical Program Management on compliance assessments and
• Partner closely with the Application Security (AppSec) team on threat modeling and firmware
• Own Samsara’s FirstNet Program and annual certification activities.
• Research and propose solutions to compliance gaps, weighing trade-offs and communicating risk
• Take part in customer and auditor conversations on Samsara device security posture, building toward
• Identify and build automation surrounding audit requirements and evidence gathering.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant compliance or engineering experience.
• Experience with carrier or cellular per-device certification for public-safety or first-responder
• Hands-on experience with ISO 21434 processes, including Item Definition, TARA (Threat Analysis and
• Experience with validation and verification of control requirements, including exposure to
• Working knowledge of automotive cybersecurity fundamentals: key and certificate management
• Ability to research and propose solutions with clear trade-off reasoning, and to communicate risk
