Hardware Debug and Validation Engineer

📋 Description

• Debug hardware and system-level issues
• Lead hardware and mechanical validation of new drives (board signals, thermal, 4-corner)
• Support interoperability and debug of Pure Storage devices in customer systems
• Analyze and document test results
• Perform failure and root-cause analysis for field issues and defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years hardware/system validation and debugging
• BS Electrical or Computer Engineering (MS a plus)
• Python and Bash scripting experience
• Hands-on lab with oscilloscope, VNA, protocol analyzer, power load, probes
• Understanding of PCIe, DDR, NAND, SPI, I2C protocols
• Experience with enterprise storage/server systems (bonus)
• Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
