Hardware Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Design circuit solutions for Graphcore processor systems and validation platforms from requirements
• Contribute to production systems and test boards used across development and validation.
• Prove performance, margin, and reliability before volume production.
• Define validation plans, run lab campaigns, and debug prototypes with firmware/architecture teams.
• Own designs from schematic to production transfer; work close to the lab to resolve issues quickly.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong digital circuit design and validation skills (DCDC regulators, power delivery, resets
• Experience with processor-based systems and interfaces: Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, USB, QSPI, JTAG.
• Lab depth in bring-up, debugging, margin testing, validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
• Ability to script tests and analyse results using Linux, Python, Bash, and Excel.
• Understanding of server architecture (BMC, NIC, SSD); SERDES experience adds value.
• Ownership mindset, clear communication, and ability to work across disciplines.
