Hybrid work schedule with at least 3 fixed days in the office
Develop and characterize high performance LiDAR systems and subsystems
Create bench tests and physics-based models to validate performance goals
Define test/calibration procedures for LiDAR data quality at scale
Execute LiDAR field measurements and assess environmental impact
Collaborate with LiDAR/software/systems engineers to ensure safety and performance

🎯 Requirements

Masters 5+ years or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related
Strong knowledge of depth sensing and precision optical/electrical/mechanical components
Experience with physics-based computational models for LiDAR/optical sensing
Track record of innovation and solving tough technical problems
Excellent data analysis, presentation, and communication skills

Base salary range: $159,000 – $196,000 USD
