Hardware Integration Engineer

📋 Description

• Be the subject matter expert for Applied’s autonomous vehicles.
• Provide vehicle integration support by designing and prototyping proof-of-concept systems and sensors.
• Lead and support the vehicle from build-out through delivery, including bring-up.
• Design test benches to validate mechanical, electrical, embedded and software systems.
• Develop and own documentation for vehicle integration.
• Troubleshoot vehicle systems and sensors and perform root-cause analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical or related field
• 1+ years technical experience in mechanical, electrical, computer, automotive or robotics
• Experience with AV components: LiDAR, radar and cameras
• Low-volume manufacturing experience in automotive or robotics
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and datasheets
• Experience documenting and maintaining detailed assembly procedures
