Hardware Operations Engineer – Baseball

📋 Description

• Field Service & Installation: travel to stadiums for onsite installations, maintenance, and QA.
• Hardware Diagnostics: check cameras, servers, networking, power, and cabling.
• Incident Response: troubleshoot hardware, swap parts, coordinate RMAs, verify recovery.
• Remote Monitoring: monitor system health, assist remote troubleshooting, prep offline kits.
• Team Collaboration: work with Hardware Leads, Systems Engineering, TechOps, and PM.
• Continuous Growth: shadow Leads to grow hands-on hardware skills.

🎯 Requirements

• Technical Experience: 1+ years in hardware support, IT ops, field service, or sports tech.
• Hardware Fundamentals: camera systems, servers, network switches, IP addressing, power, cabling.
• Hands-On Mentality: comfortable in warehouses, labs, and live MLB stadiums.
• Problem-Solving Skills: troubleshoot methodically, document findings, escalate when needed.
• Communication: strong interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to Travel: travel up to 80% during peak installation windows.
