Hardware Product Manager, Consumer Commerce

📋 Description

• Set vision, roadmap, and direction for OpenAI's consumer hardware ecommerce.
• Lead planning, scoping, and prioritization of projects to achieve goals.
• Define roadmap for a unified commerce experience (hardware + software).
• Gather requirements, write specs, refine feedback, and ship quickly.
• Build partnerships with marketing, ops, support, finance, legal, and engineering.
• Assess impact of technical changes on CX, business, and ops.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of ecommerce product management experience.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices and consumer intuition.
• Strategic with ability to dive into technical details and explain tradeoffs.
• Experience using customer insights and data analytics to guide strategy.
• Proven ability to build consensus with diverse partners across functions.
• Bonus: experience managing commerce for consumer hardware or integrated offerings.
