Hardware Reliability Engineer, Mechanical (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Troubleshoot hardware failures and perform root-cause analysis for Starshield hardware.
• Contain non-conforming product and drive investigations with timely updates to teams.
• Drive corrective actions using yield and defect data to identify failure modes.
• Collaborate with Integration & Test to improve manufacturing processes and test coverage.
• Apply lean checks to ensure objective criteria and reliable performance.
• Identify design and manufacturing improvements in new product cycles to boost yield.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 1+ years in process, manufacturing or reliability engineering (internships ok).
• 3+ years in electro-mechanical hardware (preferred).
• Experience with DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Python, C or SQL for data analysis and automation.
• Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, or willingness to obtain.
