Hardware Reliability Engineer (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Perform detailed failure analysis of Starshield hardware to identify root causes
• Use schematics, test equipment, and inspection to diagnose failure physics
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to improve reliability
• Work with test engineers to improve test assets and coverage
• Monitor yield and quality metrics; drive corrective actions
• Conduct benchtop environmental testing to validate robustness

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related discipline
• 1+ years in hardware development, failure analysis, or reliability engineering (internship/co-op qualifies)
• 3+ years industry experience with electronic hardware
• Experience with digital/mixed-signal designs and power/RF electronics; SPI/I2C/CAN/Ethernet
• Proficiency in Python, C, or C++ for test automation and data analysis
• Active TS/DOE clearance or ability to obtain one; able to work extended hours
