Hardware/Software Asset Management Analyst III

📋 Description

• Manages HW and SW assets; optimizes value and reduces risk.
• Maintains CMDB data; coordinates licenses and renewals.
• Tracks license entitlements, deployments, usage, procurement status.
• Performs QA audits; communicates TAM policies to stakeholders.
• Manages renewals, purchasing, invoicing, and license keys.
• Negotiates licensing terms with vendors and internal teams.
• Generates usage and budget reports to monitor compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 8+ years in IT Asset Management, Procurement, or IT Operations.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience with ITAM tools (ServiceNow, Flexera).
• Proficiency tracking HW assets and warranty agreements.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with vendors and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices (preferred).
• IAITAM certification (CAMP, CSAM) preferred.
• Experience with cloud software licensing (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) preferred.
• Experience with contract management and vendor relationship management preferred.
