Hardware Technician

📋 Description

• Night shift 6PM–6AM in Omaha, NE; US citizens only
• Schedule: Sun–Tue; every other Wed; after 4 months, Wed–Sat
• Install, configure, and decommission servers, storage, and network equipment in data centers
• Rack and stack operations, cable management, and hardware labeling
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and performance issues
• Perform routine hardware maintenance and component replacements

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in server hardware, data center operations, or related IT infrastructure roles
• Understanding of server hardware components (CPUs, memory, storage, power supplies, network interfaces)
• Knowledge of data center operations including rack installation, cable management, and environmental monitoring
• Ability to follow established procedures and apply technical knowledge to complete tasks
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs; work in data center environments
