Hardware Technician

📋 Description

• The Hardware Technician leads hardware ops in large-scale data centers, troubleshooting and
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain servers, network devices, and mainframe equipment.
• Escalate complex hardware issues and drive resolutions.
• Manage server implementations, decommissions, rack/stack, and infrastructure changes.
• Design rack layouts, connectivity plans, and raised floor configurations.
• Coordinate remote data center operations with local teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data center hardware operations with leadership
• Hands-on with servers, network gear, and infra troubleshooting
• Fiber/copper cabling and structured cabling standards
• Raised-floor ops: power, cooling, environment, security
• Experience with mainframe tech (AS/400, S/390)
• Strong diagnostics, root-cause analysis, mentoring skills
