📋 Description

  • Develop and execute mechanical test plans (stress, vibration, shock, drop)
  • Simulate real-world conditions with test rigs and environmental chambers.
  • Use precision instruments to collect and analyze data.
  • Identify failures and perform root-cause analysis with design engineers.
  • Design test routines to validate mechanical robustness of hardware.
  • Maintain documentation of testing procedures and results.

🎯 Requirements

  • 3+ years in mechanical testing, validation, and failure analysis for electronics.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Hands-on HALT, HASS, ALT and environmental screening.
  • Vibration, shock, drop, thermal cycling, humidity, fatigue testing.
  • CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, ANSYS) for jigs and tests.
  • Materials science and thermal–mechanical reliability knowledge.
