Harness Design Intern (Summer 2027)

📋 Description

• Work on new tooling and improve the workflows associated with harness design
• Experiment with AI to update and modify drawings
• Create harness drawings, BOMs and maintain system diagrams
• Specify connector and crimp part numbers in accordance with system design
• Gather feedback from AIT, EE and Mechanical for initial designs and improvements
• Work with electrical engineering to ensure compliance with signal integrity, grounding, and

🎯 Requirements

• Attention to detail, strong reading comprehension and a desire for ownership
• Familiarity with creating harness drawings in any software
• Ability to use the linux terminal, basic git tools, LLMs with MCPs, python programming
• Ability to build harnesses from scratch - not required daily but helps inform strip lengths
• Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each week
