Head of Accounting

📋 Description

• Build and lead the accounting team, assign ownership, and manage performance.
• Operationalise new group entities, set up COA, processes, and intercompany links.
• Develop internal controls, policies, and evolving processes as the product grows.
• Implement accounting technology and tools; drive AI adoption and automation.
• Coordinate group audits and GAAP compliance across jurisdictions.
• Oversee regulatory reporting and tax filings across group entities.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years managing teams.
• Proven track record of leading, building, or scaling an accounting team.
• Deep expertise in Lithuanian GAAP and/or IFRS, intercompany accounting and consolidation.
• Strong business acumen; connect responsibilities across units.
• Proficient in close processes, audit coordination, and financial statement analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
