Head of Accounting (Controller)

📋 Description

• Oversee and scale all aspects of the Company's accounting and tax operations and strategy
• Build and scale financial systems, processes, and policies
• Oversee the company's monthly close process, annual audits, financial reporting, and overall
• Manage the accounting function including GL, AP, technical/revenue accounting, financial reporting
• Partner with stakeholders across business units and functional leaders
• Support the CFO and executives on strategic initiatives including M&A, fundraising, secondary

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience, with 3+ years at a top-tier audit firm and 8+ years in-house accounting at
• Built and retained an accounting team of meaningful scale and complexity
• Designed and managed full-cycle accounting close and operations, including tax, treasury, payroll
• Led accounting teams through multiple clean audits with Big Four firms
• Applied knowledge of US GAAP to complex business transactions
• Proven track record of scaling finance operations through major process or systems overhauls
