Head of Aerodynamics & Thermal

📋 Description

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of aerodynamicists, thermal analysts and test engineers for Helsing's
• Own full aerodynamic and thermal design lifecycle from concept to physical validation
• Collaborate with structural, electronics, firmware and payload teams to optimise drone architectures

🎯 Requirements

• Designed and validated aerodynamic or aerothermal systems for unmanned/aerospace/defence platforms
• Experience leading engineering teams in multi-programme settings
• Proficient in CFD/thermal tools: ANSYS Fluent, Star-CCM+, Siemens Simcenter or OpenFOAM
• Ability to communicate complex fluid-thermal physics to diverse stakeholders
• Eligible for national security clearance and appropriate residency/citizenship
