Head of AI Enablement Engineering

📋 Description

• Own and drive AI enablement across Deepgram—strategy and hands-on tooling.
• Evaluate and prototype AI tools; avoid tool sprawl; build-vs-buy decisions.
• Build reference implementations: reusable agents, MCP servers, workflows.
• Set company-wide AI adoption strategy—metrics, milestones, cadence.
• Partner with Platform/Security/Data to define guardrails for safe adoption.
• Build and lead a distributed champions network; grow the central team.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering background; able to build production-grade agents and tools.
• Deep fluency with AI tooling—agents, LLM patterns, prompting, MCP.
• Track record driving tech adoption at scale across orgs.
• Ability to influence across business and tech functions.
• Product/Platform mindset; enablement as a product with adoption roadmap.
• Excellent communication; demo, document, evangelize, and report to executives.
