Head of Applied AI

📋 Description

• Lead the AI Platform team, combining AI engineering and data science
• Own tools, models, frameworks, and eval processes used internally and in products
• Ensure AI integrates reliably with Banking Core via APIs, MCP, and interfaces
• Build AI tools to improve company effectiveness across product, operations, and governance
• Initially an 80/20 maker/manager role with growth of the team

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience shipping production AI systems
• Hands-on coding; not looking for a manager-only role
• Strong model selection and eval methodology intuition
• Security-minded with awareness of prompt injection/adversarial inputs
• Comfortable with ambiguity and setting direction while shipping
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript; AWS and CloudFlare experience
