📋 Description

• Lead and coach a high-performing global Commercial Legal team.
• Set vision and strategy for how Commercial Legal enables Canva's growth while managing commercial
• Provide strategic guidance to leadership on material commercial, customer, partner, supplier
• Partner with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Product teams to support launches and new initiatives.
• Design scalable commercial legal processes, playbooks, templates and ways of working.
• Foster high-performance, collaborative culture through work distribution, growth, wellbeing.

🎯 Requirements

• Leadership & teamwork skills; experience managing across timezones preferred.
• Strong experience in commercial matters: customer, partner, supplier, technology transactions.
• Strategic business partnering; balance legal risk with commercial opportunity.
• Experience advising technology companies; understand legal intersection with product and
• Experience improving legal processes and building scalable functions.
• Comfort with and fluency in AI tools; interest in AI adoption.
