Head of Consumer Operations

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end financial operations for consumer money movement across fiat and crypto at scale.
• Define and manage SLAs for key metrics (withdrawal time, success rate, disputes).
• Build SOPs and a control framework for money movement (segregation of duties, audit-readiness).
• Lead operations team (reconciliation, asset movement, support ops) with distributed or outsourced functions.
• Own incident response for disruptions (failed withdrawals, delays, outages) and customer communications.
• Drive readiness for new product launches and geographic expansions with licensing/regulatory dependencies and go-live runbooks.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in financial/payments/treasury operations; 4+ years in senior leadership; crypto/fintech/regulatory exp preferred.
• Direct experience managing fiat and crypto money movement (deposits, withdrawals, settlements) at scale.
• Track record building/leading ops teams through rapid growth; workforce planning across in-house and outsourced models.
• Strong AML, KYC, and fraud-prevention knowledge; partner with Compliance, not policy owner.
• Experience with Treasury liquidity, cash positioning, and banking relationships in financial services or crypto.
• Proven success delivering operational readiness for product launches or geographic expansions.
