Head of Electrical Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead Electrical Engineering across full asset lifecycle: development, EPC, commissioning, ops
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, design criteria, and governance across fleet and pipeline
• Oversee electrical system design for new projects: substations, collectors, interconnection, protection
• Provide technical oversight to Asset Management and Operations to improve performance and reliability
• Own grid compliance strategy; ensure ISO/RTO, NERC, and utility adherence
• Support interconnection strategies, upgrades, repowering, and capacity expansions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years in power systems with utility-scale renewables
• 5+ years leadership in IPP/utility/large developer
• Experience supporting both project execution and operating asset portfolios
• Expertise in high-voltage systems (69–500 kV), substations, interconnection
• Familiar with NA grid operators (PJM, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO) and NERC
