📋 Description

• Lead engineering across product, platform, data, payments, and AI infra.
• Hire top talent and balance speed with reliability.
• Drive AI-native SDLC with shared libraries, agent pipelines, and CI/CD.
• Design evaluation systems for AI software: gates, benchmarks, tests.
• Set tech direction across Rails API, data, payments, and clients.
• Partner with the CEO on roadmap and AI-enabled fintech.

🎯 Requirements

• 7-12 years building software with leadership in high-growth startups or as founder.
• Hypergrowth background Seed–Series C or founder experience.
• Fluent in AI-native engineering with production AI-agent workflows.
• Strong judgment on speed vs. correctness; builds recoverable systems.
• Experience operating payments or financial systems at scale.
• Eager to work in SF office 3-5 days/week.
