Head of Finance

📋 Description

• Own bookkeeping, payroll, A/P, A/R, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Take ownership of all financial ops in the first quarter.
• Maintain clean balance sheets and P&Ls; review monthly with CEO.
• Build rolling 12-month forecast; implement FP&A cadence.
• Deliver quarterly investor updates, board reports, and KPI dashboards.
• Implement scalable financial systems and ensure GAAP governance.

🎯 Requirements

• Finance end-to-end ownership at an early/growth-stage tech company.
• Led accounting, forecasting, and strategy without external providers.
• Fluent in GAAP, accrual accounting, FP&A, monthly close, SaaS metrics.
• Built or improved financial models for board decisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail; financial accuracy as infrastructure.
• Comfortable as a one-person team; scaling systems before headcount.
