Head of Finance & Custody - VARA

📋 Description

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts for VARA entity.
• Prepare VARA regulatory packs and answer information requests.
• Forecast and budget for the local entity with Group FP&A; monitor NLA headroom.
• Lead the statutory audit process; liaise with Group Financial Control.
• Develop and maintain the finance control environment and risk register.
• Prepare board presentations on financial performance and capital/NLA position.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with financial services and VARA exposure.
• Experience in safeguarding, custody or client assets (crypto/e-money).
• Working knowledge of VARA rulebook architecture or ability to learn quickly.
• Group reporting experience; external/regulatory reporting.
• IFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management; cross-functional projects.
