Head of Financial Accounting & Audit

📋 Description

• Maintain and continually enhance standards for financial reporting, governance and control across
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, Companies Act and AIM reporting requirements, acting as a
• Lead Group consolidation and statutory reporting, working with our regional Finance teams to
• Work closely with the Head of Finance Operations to ensure significant accounting judgements, risks
• Take ownership of intercompany accounting across the Group.
• Manage our external audit relationships and support Audit Committee activities.

🎯 Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or an equivalent accounting qualification, with significant post-qualified experience
• Experience working within a listed or regulated business, with a strong understanding of the
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Extensive experience leading Group consolidation, statutory reporting and external audit programmes.
• Strong relationship-building skills and experience working with Tax, Finance, external auditors and
• A proactive and practical approach to problem solving, with the confidence to challenge and improve
