Head of First Party Chip Finance

📋 Description

• Lead financial evaluation of custom silicon programs, including development investment, production
• Build and own program-level models and multiyear forecasts connecting engineering milestones
• Partner closely with chip-design and engineering leaders on technical decisions affecting
• Develop a detailed view of chip and system costs (wafers, yields, packaging, memory, testing
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement on supplier strategy and negotiations, including capacity
• Work with Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Legal to evaluate financing and payment

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience leading finance for semiconductor or custom silicon programs (owned investment
• Undergraduate degree in technical discipline (preferably electrical engineering or computer
• 10+ years experience in semiconductor finance, hardware finance, strategic finance, or related
• Strong command of semiconductor economics: development costs, yields, packaging/memory costs
• Excellent financial modeling skills: independently build models, test assumptions, quantify
• Technical credibility to work with chip designers, understand constraints, evaluate tradeoffs
