Head of Internal Controls and Assurance

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Playtech’s assurance and internal control strategy, framework and operating
• Lead financial, operational and technology control transformation programmes, including preparation
• Oversee the design, implementation and ongoing operation of a robust financial reporting control
• Establish proportionate, risk-based scoping, testing, remediation, certification and ongoing
• Prepare clear, accurate and concise draft reporting on control effectiveness for senior management
• Drive timely remediation of control deficiencies and sustainable improvements to underlying

🎯 Requirements

• Significant senior-level experience in assurance, internal controls, external audit, financial
• Designed, implemented or transformed enterprise-wide control frameworks and demonstrated sustained
• Understanding of financial reporting control frameworks, including entity-level controls, process
• Led risk-based scoping, control design, operating-effectiveness testing, deficiency evaluation
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation, close processes and complex accounting
• Practical experience of General IT Controls, access governance, segregation of duties and assurance
