📋 Description

• Own the company's UK regulatory build: FCA cryptoasset authorisation, UK EMI application, and FCA
• Oversee UK conduct perimeter: cryptoasset financial promotions regime, Consumer Duty, UK Travel
• Ensure post-authorisation readiness: governance, senior manager and certification considerations
• Brief, direct, and quality-control UK external counsel, and manage spend.
• Lead international expansion: additional licence applications in other jurisdictions and UK-EU
• Draft and negotiate English-law B2B agreements: MSAs, API and white-label terms, referral and agent

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales, typically with 8+ years PQE.
• Hands-on UK financial services regulatory experience, including personally owning or materially
• Direct, personal interaction with the FCA: correspondence, meetings, and representation led
• Crypto or digital-asset legal experience at licensed or established firms (exchanges, on/off-ramps
• Cryptoasset, e-money, or payments perimeter experience; engagement with 2025–26 FCA cryptoasset
• Ability to draft and negotiate English-law B2B fintech agreements independently.
