📋 Description

• Negotiate customer, vendor, reseller and data-processing agreements.
• Advise People Ops on hiring, termination, equity grants and multi-state compliance.
• Build and run privacy / AI compliance program (GDPR, CCPA, FTC).
• Prepare board consents, maintain cap-table and support financings.
• Manage outside counsel on IP, litigation and insurance claims.

🎯 Requirements

• JD or LL.B.; active bar in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 8-15 years in law-firm and in-house with dept-of-one track record.
• Deep expertise in SaaS contracts, employment law, data privacy (GDPR/CCPA), governance.
• Hands-on in managing outside counsel and cross-border issues (US/India preferred).
• Business-first communicator who translates legal complexity clearly.
• Proficient with generative-AI tools and prompt engineering.
