Head of Legal & Compliance

📋 Description

• Own the legal and compliance framework for AI-powered calling and dialer functionality, incl. TCPA
• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed compliance in platform workflows, controls, and
• Manage external legal advisors; decide internal vs external handling of matters.
• Lead privacy program across GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and evolving US state rules.
• Oversee data subject requests, opt-outs, and data privacy operations.
• Own data sourcing and governance practices, including DPIAs and transfer assessments.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience; qualified to practice in the United States.
• Deep privacy experience with GDPR and CCPA/CPRA; applying frameworks to products and data flows.
• Strong experience advising Product/Engineering and influencing product decisions.
• Proven ability to build or scale a legal/compliance function in high-growth settings.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, AI governance, and regulatory risk management.
• Experience with TCPA, telephony, dialer, consent, or related regulations is highly desirable.
