Head of Legal & Compliance

📋 Description

• Own the legal and compliance framework for AI-powered calling and dialer, TCPA, consent, DNC, call
• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed compliance in platform workflows and controls.
• Manage external advisors, incl. a TCPA-focused firm; decide matters to escalate externally.
• Lead privacy program across GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and emerging state laws.
• Manage data-subject requests and other privacy processes.
• Own data sourcing/governance, DPIAs, transfer impact assessments, and related processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience, licensed to practice in the United States.
• Deep privacy experience with GDPR and CCPA/CPRA in products, data flows, operations.
• Strong experience advising Product/Engineering and participating in technical decisions.
• Proven ability to establish or scale a legal/compliance function in high-growth environments.
• Understanding of data privacy, AI governance, regulatory risk management.
• Fluent English; certifications like CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM welcome but not required.
