• Define and drive the research strategy for AI intelligence (reasoning, planning, memory, context).
• Lead model-architecture decisions, choosing proprietary vs OSS/commercial models.
• Design evaluation frameworks for quality, safety, reliability, long-term performance.
• Ensure alignment, safety, and guardrails for reliable, responsible AI.
• Explore retrieval-augmented training, mixture-of-experts, multimodal AI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale research.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience designing, building, and deploying production ML systems.
• Deep expertise evaluating model performance, failure modes, and long-term impact.
• Hands-on Python, PyTorch and/or JAX, with GPU training/inference.
• Balance research innovation with practical product delivery and performance.
• Experience with LLMs, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, or multimodal architectures.
• Ownership, autonomy, and entrepreneurial mindset focused on execution.
