Head of Operations

📋 Description

• Be the CEO's chief of staff: board agendas and KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate with Finance/FP&A on monthly close and audits.
• Coordinate with IT on provisioning, MDM, network, security, onboarding.
• Represent ICEYE Portugal in customer/partner meetings; support local CEO.
• Support Local Security Officer on facility security and clearance logistics.
• Handle regulatory items: incorporation, NIPC, Segurança Social, AT, ANEPC, grants.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Ops, Chief of Staff, or GM in Portugal; 3+ years in tech/defence scale-ups.
• Working knowledge of Portuguese employment law and payroll fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience standing up or scaling a Portuguese subsidiary.
• Strong vendor and procurement instincts: negotiation and contracts.
• Able to operate in a global matrix with HQ HR/Finance/IT/Legal in another time zone.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
