Head of Options Trading

📋 Description

• Design and run the options/derivatives trading book; market making with risk management.
• Enhance options offering; design and launch new derivatives (FX options, listed products).
• Onboard exchanges, prime brokers, liquidity providers; own relationships.
• Define and deliver platform roadmap with Technology and Product.
• Grow client options/derivatives flow with RM, Sales and Marketing.
• Lead team build-out in line with the approved business plan.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–20 years in options/derivatives trading, market making, or managing a trading book.
• Multi-asset experience across equity, index, FX and commodity; listed and OTC.
• Strong risk management: delta, gamma, vega, correlation, exotic risks.
• Regulatory knowledge: MiFID II governance, suitability rules, UK/Asia regimes.
• Fluent English.
• Commercial and direct; accountable for P&L.
