📋 Description

• Own the full employee experience, culture, and people strategy.
• Lead People Operations: payroll, benefits, HRIS, leaves, workers' comp.
• Ensure NY State/NYC and multi-state compliance with counsel.
• Collaborate on compensation strategy: leveling, benchmarking, equity education.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and team-building programs.
• Build a high-trust, high-performance culture with rituals and internal comms.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in HR at high-growth tech firms, senior leader.
• Senior-most leader or #2 at a scaling company.
• Deep knowledge of NY State/NYC employment law.
• Designed performance management systems and ladders.
• Trusted, confidential advisor to employees at all levels.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on, willing to roll up sleeves.
• Data-driven with strong communication; strategic thinker.
