Head of Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of platform engineering and infrastructure strategy.
• Partner with senior leadership to set a platform roadmap for reliability, security, automation, and DX.
• Assess infra landscape to improve consistency, visibility, and operational maturity.
• Define platform standards for cloud, deployment, observability, security, and environment management.
• Own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, deployment workflows, and production environments.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities and self-service tools to boost developer productivity.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure.
• 2+ years leading a Platform, Infra, DevOps, or SRE function.
• Proven experience mentoring platform, infrastructure, or reliability teams.
• Strong AWS production experience (architecture, networking, security, scalability).
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD; IaC with Terraform or Pulumi.
